Control a fast hero who rushes forward through the levels of this fantastic game for Android. Guide the hero through magical jungle and other locations full of enemies.
Boss battles appear to break up the flow after every few stages, but these do little to add value to the overall experience - Boogerman's enemies feel just as generic as their names, like "Hick Boy," who is, shockingly, a redneck with a chicken.Google Android 3.0, Google Android 3.1, Google Android 3.2, Google Android 4.0, Google Android 4.1, Google Android 4.2, Google Android 4.3, Google Android 4.4įantastic 1: Gravity runner - help the funny hero escape from an evil sorcerer. You'll also be grabbing floating plunger icons for extra points, floating milk icons for a temporary loogie-spitting upgrade, floating cape icons for defensive bonuses to Boogerman's ability to withstand hits from enemies - his adventure just ends up being a platforming collect-a-thon, running from one end of each stage to the next, gathering a ridiculous amount of little extra items along the way. He can belch and bend over to send clouds of toxic gas at his foes, too, but that just a different projectile attack - and, again, you'll have to refill his ability to do that too by recharging his gas meter fairly frequently. Boogerman can pick and flick boogers at his enemies, sure, but it's just a normal projectile attack - and one that you'll have to refill by picking up snot globs to recharge his nostrils. You go into this game expecting the unexpected, but the gross-you-out visuals just don't translate into anything significantly original in gameplay.
For all the focus given to how Boogerman is wildly different from other heroes, he controls just as normally as any of them, jumping, running and leaping on top of enemies' heads to defeat them. Arriving then in the snot-covered forests, mucus-laden mines and other slimy environments of Dimension X Crement, Boogerman's adventure begins - as a fairly standard platformer. So, to right his wrong, Ragsdale dons the identity of Boogerman and boldly flushes himself through the portal to pursue the pickpocket. When Snotty unwittingly causes the lab's security to break down, the teleporting device is stolen and taken into that same other dimension.
He's posing as a janitor working at the lab of one Professor Stinkbaum, a scientist whose latest invention promises to rid the world of pollution - but only because it's just teleporting all of our waste and garbage to another dimension.
